The Estate Management and Business Development Company Limited (EMBD), mindful of its corporate social responsibility, donated three hundred and sixty (336) cubic yards of sand to fourteen Municipal Corporations. This sand was accessed from EMBD’s Coco Road Sand Quarry, which is one of the few licenced Quarry in this Country. The sand was used to fill sand bags, which were to be used as preventative flooding measures by the Corporations.

This exercise took place on 1^st July 2021. The distribution was made invariably equitable by the use of the EMBD’s Volume Load Scanner, a sophisticated equipment that accurately measures the volume of each load of sand.

The EMBD stands ready to assist the Country in its time of need.
