Estate Management Estate Management is another major area of focus. It is about the management of all:
The Estate Management Division will ensure that policies to facilitate the sustainable use and development of the land and its resources are adhered to. The EMBD through the issuance of sub-leases will provide security of tenure to farmers. This will encourage the best use and economic production of the land. This Division was mandated to create a digital Land Information System for the agricultural lands under the Commissioner of State Lands. It is also in this process of redefining the boundaries of the two acre agricultural parcels developed for the former Caroni (1975) Ltd. VSEP employees . Other Departments are:
